2018 High School State Championship Elk Lake

Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation High School State Championship logoThe 2018 Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation High School State Championship is Saturday, August 18 – Sunday, August 19 at Elk Lake out of the Whitewater Township Park Ramp.

Accessible tournament waters will be Elk Lake, Lake Skegemog, Clam Lake, and Torch Lake. Lake Michigan is not part of the tournament waters and is not accessible from the launch location. The youth bass tournament is being held concurrently with the Junior State Championship.

Off-Limits” period prior to the tournament starting August 4 at 6AM until August 16 at 6AM. Anglers, Boat Captains, Coaches, Advisers, or Parents are not permitted on any tournament water for the purpose of locating bass or fishing for bass – No exceptions.

The official practice days will begin at 6AM Thursday, August 16 and will conclude at 5PM Friday, August 17. No Boat Captains, Coaches, Advisers, or Parents are allowed to practice without at least one of the competing anglers in the boat with them. No exceptions.

Anyone found in violation of any Off-Limits period/rules will unfortunately be disqualified from the competition.
