Gritter Earns Seat at 2018 Bassmaster Classic

Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation boater Luke Gritter earned his place in the 2018 Bassmaster Classic with a strong performance finishing 2nd at the 2017 B.A.S.S. Nation Championship on Lake Hartwell!
Held October 19-21, 2017 in Anderson, South Carolina, Gritter also caught the event’s big bass – 6-3 on his Day 3 sacking a total of 14-9 to jump into 2nd place with a 15-bass, 3-day total of 34-8! Gritter joins a select group of Michigan anglers who have qualified for Bassmaster Classic appearances!
Gritter qualified for the 2017 B.A.S.S. Nation Championship after finishing third at the April 5-7, 2017 B.A.S.S. Nation Central Regional on Lake of the Ozarks with 48-9 as the Michigan team’s top boater. Gritter’s path to excellence began with the 2016 MBN State Championship August 12-13 last season on Lake St. Clair where he finished as the 7th place boater with 35.01 pounds.
