How to Start a Youth Club

Jr. Bassmaster and High School Youth Programs Information

Junior and High School Official/Unofficial Clubs must have at least 2 members (Anglers must live in Michigan).

First thing to do is download the Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation (MBN) Youth TeamAPP – You will need to install the App and join our MBN-Youth Division team to participate and access information. Follow these instructions: Youth App Instructions

Once you have done that continue below “To start a Youth Division Club/Team.”

To Start a Youth Division Club/Team:

  1. You will need a Google/Gmail account to register/enroll the club. If you do not have one, you can obtain one here:
  2. Register/Enroll your club/team with National B.A.S.S and Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation online at this link: JOIN TODAY.
  3. If your club is not OFFICIALLY recognized by your School District, we need a High Sshool Denial Letter or email from the administration, or a phone call/message to the Youth Director. The administration representative must be a Vice Principal or above. Here is a link to download our denial letter: H.S. Denial Letter
  4. Pay membership fees online via PayPal.
    • High School Members = Discounted B.A.S.S. Membership + National B.A.S.S. Nation Membership + MBN Membership Dues. High School Division Cost per Angler – after the document opens, click the link that matches the number of High School anglers you are enrolling.
    • Junior Bassmaster Members = National B.A.S.S. Nation Membership + MBN Membership Dues. Junior Division Cost per Angler – after the document opens, click the link that matches the number of Jr. Bassmaster anglers you are enrolling.
  5. MBN–Youth Division will forward your club’s payment to National B.A.S.S so there is no need to submit payment to National B.A.S.S.
