High School State Championship
Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation High School State Championship
The Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation – Youth Division holds one High School State Championship (9th-12th grade) annually (in conjunction with the Junior Bassmasters State Championship). Based on their finish, two (2) teams have the opportunity to qualify for the B.A.S.S. High School Nation Championship.
Our Youth Division State Championships are usually held in early to mid-August. The tournament is typically a 2-day event on the same body of water. To insure the integrity of the competition, we will normally have a 1 to 2 week “Off-Limits” period prior to the MBN–Youth Division State Championship tournaments.
Note: Unless granted a Youth Director’s exemption, any angler wishing to compete in the MBN H.S. State Championship must compete in at least one (1) High School Team Trail tournament. A request for exemption must be delivered via email to the Youth Director with a full explanation regarding reason for the request. Approval/Denial will be handle on a case by case basis.
