The College Division is for anglers enrolled in college. There will be clubs formed within each individual college. These clubs can also become Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation adult clubs as long as they have at least 6 members. To affiliate your college club with Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation as an adult club (to be eligible to fish our annual State Championship for example), please contact Youth Director Bret Straffon or President Pat Bell (If your College club is already an adult-affiliated club with Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation and you need to update an existing club member or add a new club member, visit the Roster Management page.)

Bassmaster College Series

If you have a college team ready to compete, then you have come to the right place. The Carhartt Bassmaster College Series presented by Bass Pro Shops gives college anglers a platform for competing with their peers in a national setting. Anglers can compete in one of five regionals and in a Wild Card tournament for the opportunity to advance to the national championship. From there, one college angler earns a coveted berth in bass fishing’s biggest tournament, the Bassmaster Classic.

On this page, you will find ALL the information you need to get your team club registered to compete in our tournament series. Each member will need to be a current B.A.S.S. member (link on Bassmaster College page page for a discounted college rate) and pay annual B.A.S.S. Nation (national) dues. Once your roster is updated, then you can fill out tournament registration forms.

For New Clubs, Signing Up is Easy

Here is a quick checklist of what you need to do:

  • Complete your school’s requirements to become an official organization on campus.
